Buying Sunglasses and Eyeglasses frames from Framelot is simple and quick. We have tools to help you select the correct frame and correct size. Once you decide on the frame you want, simply pick the correct size and color. Drop it in your cart at which point you will be asked to create an account with us to ensure proper billing and shipping information. Then, select a shipping option. That’s it!

Eyeglasses w/ Prescription Lenses

Although it requires more steps, taking the time to collect the necessary information will make your online purchase of prescription eyewear quick and easy.

1) Have your Current Prescription ready with your PD.

Most doctors will release your prescription to you at the end of your exam. If not, just call them an ask for it. By law, that prescription belongs to you. Your PD is the distance between your pupils (black part of your eyes). Most prescriptions do not have this on it so you may have to ask them for it OR call the store that made your old glasses. They will have it on file.

2) Chose a frame

Once you choose your frame, select the color and then the size of the frame. Place it in your cart.

3) Add Lenses

Once you select this, the page will take you to the part where you select the lens type, then lens material.

4) Select your lens type (Single Vision, Progressive or Bifocal Lenses)

Single vision is what most people will have. This corrects for one distance.

Progressive Lenses are also know as no-line bifocals.

Bifocal Lenses are bifocals that have a line.

5) Select your lens material.

Framelot will recommend the correct lens material for you. 6) Enter your prescription

With your prescription in hand, just enter in you prescription and PD. Again, if you need any help, our opticians are waiting to happily assist you. We will also verify your prescription to check for mistakes. We will need you to fax us your prescription to 1-888-283-2929 or email us a copy of it to prescriptions@framelot.com. If you don’t have a copy of your prescriptions, just enter in your doctor’s name and phone number. We will contact them to verify the prescription for you.

7) That’s pretty much it!

If you have any coupon codes, don’t forget to add it to get your discount. We accept all major credit cards and PayPal. You will have a chance to review your full order before submitting. Just place everything in your cart, create an account and we’ll process the order as soon as it’s finalized!

Contacts

At Framelot, we strive to make your contact lenses purchasing experience as easy as possible. The only thing you need here is either an old box of contacts or your current contact lens prescription given to you by your doctor. All prescriptions are verified by your doctor to ensure that we are giving you the correct contact lenses. Only contacts prescribed by your doctor can be ordered. There are 2 ways of verifying your prescription. 1) fax or email us a copy of your prescription. Our toll free fax number is 1-888-283-2929. Or you can email us a copy at prescriptions@framelot.com. 2) Give us your doctor’s name and phone number and we will call them ourselves to verify the prescription for you.

Reading the prescription off the box:

All contact lens boxes contain the necessary information to order contacts. Usually located on the end tabs, there are a couple pieces of information you will need to collect:

1) Brand

2) Power (ie. -4.00 or -4.50-1.25x 090 for toric prescriptions)

3) BC (ie. 8.4)

4) Dia (ie. 14.0)

-Once you enter in the brand and prescription you will need to select the number of boxes you would like to purchase. Keep in mind, the more you purchase, the more discounts you get.

-Add to your cart. Creating a log-in and password will allow you to re-order contacts without having to go back and enter all the information next time.

-Review your order, select your shipping and sit back. Your contact lens order will be processed the same day.
